TheDirtyFabulous has lived most of this life in the Southwest /desert Southwest. 

Tumbleweeds, wind, blown trash and leaves, humid weather, thunderstorms, tornadoes.

I began this “book” in a small run-down house in the woods in 1997 -since then the work has slowly been accumulating. The place has since been abandoned, but I continue the work.  This project or “book” is actually large drawings or pages that touch on a variety of topics. Philosophy, psychology, dreams, fears, human folly, eroticism, consumer culture, medieval manuscripts -all are brought in on these works. They are all done by hand, with a variety of materials -but typically acrylic paint /ink on 22″ x 30″ watercolor paper.
